The conditions for using CarSocial.
About the service
CarSocial is an India-focused car catalogue, market-estimate, personal-garage owner-offer and chat service. The operator is Midnight Digital Private Limited. Contact admin@themidnight.in for privacy requests, complaints and support. This page is not a claim that new contractual terms have been accepted by existing members.
Your account
Keep access to your sign-in email secure and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others, upload another person's private records without permission, or use the service for fraud, harassment, spam or unlawful activity. Account features are intended for adults; users under 18 should not provide personal data until an appropriate parental-consent process is available.
Your car photos
Upload only photos you own or have permission to use. By confirming the photo upload checkbox, you grant CarSocial (Midnight Digital Private Limited) a non-exclusive licence to store, resize and display the photo on CarSocial according to your garage and listing settings until you remove or replace it. Do not upload unlawful, offensive or private content without permission. Private/hidden car photos are available to their owner and authorised admins for moderation; public viewing is allowed only while the car is public, visible and open to offers. Removing or hiding a photo stops future access, but cannot recall downloaded copies. Logged-in members can use Report photo to send a reason and note to admins; reports are handled manually, with no promised response deadline.
Chats and groups
Logged-in members can start direct chats with owners and join public Make, Model and City groups. Join before posting. Do not send spam, harassment or content you lack permission to share. Block and report controls are available. Photos are view-once per eligible recipient, not screenshot-proof. Current group members at sending time get one view each; later joiners do not get old photo access. Access expires 24 hours after sending. A failed delivery while opening can consume the view. No automatic reminder messages are sent. Admins can review reports, remove messages and suspend accounts; reporting does not guarantee a response time.
Cars and offers
Listings are supplied by members and are not proof of ownership, title, vehicle condition or RC verification. Making or accepting an offer records the interaction on CarSocial; payment, inspection, insurance, possession and legal transfer are arranged separately. Do not hand over money or a vehicle without your own checks. No escrow or guaranteed transaction service is provided.
Estimates and catalogue
Prices, depreciation, sales and standing figures may be estimates or sample/modelled data, as labelled. They are not a binding valuation, manufacturer quotation, investment recommendation or promise of resale value. Catalogue annotations are supplied data and may be incomplete or wrong.
Content, availability and your rights
Only submit information you are entitled to share. The service may have outages or errors; keep your own copies of important records. These terms do not attempt to waive rights or remedies available under applicable Indian law.
Privacy and changes
Read the Privacy, Cookie and Disclaimer pages for the current feature descriptions. Material new uses of personal data or optional tracking should be explained before activation, with the required choice. Requests are handled by the operator.
